If you want to join the law career then there are several entrances you need to give for the admissions. Some of them include CLAT, SET, LSAT and AILET, to name few. Here are some smart ways in which you can ace the AILET exam: –
- Master your English: – English plays quite an important role in law entrance exams. Make sure you perfect your vocabulary, sentences and reading comprehensions. Other than this, improve on your grammar.
- Join coaching classes: – It is not easy to study for AILET on your own. You need to know all the techniques on how the sections of the papers work and a better idea regarding the subjects. This help you will only get from a reputable AILET coaching institute in Delhi. So make sure you enrol your names 3 to 6 months before the exam date.
- General knowledge and current affairs: – Most law exams have the highest weightage of marks of GK. If your GK is strong and you are up to date about the latest happenings around the country, then you will be able to score 25% approx. marks in the paper. Read good magazines and newspapers to stay in touch with what is happening around. Make sure you read news items you spot on the internet too. Other than basic news, make sure you are keeping a track of all the legal news happening in and around the country. Legal news is obviously a vital part of the paper and you must be aware of everything happening at the Supreme Court, high court, etc.
- Legal awareness: – Apart from knowing what is currently in the news, you should be able to know about the latest laws imposed in the country. Also, you must master the legal reasoning skills. Go through some old papers to see what kind of questions will be a part of your entrance exam paper.
- Logic and questioning: – Lawyers are all about logic and questioning. You must be up in your game when it comes to logic and questioning. There could be challenging questions in the paper that could require you to put in logic, smartness and some questioning. Put in legal reasoning to answer such questions and you will be able to bring out the best answers. Make sure you follow what is stated in the books too.
- Maths: – Last but not the least; maths also plays an important part in the law exam. There will be a section which is going to be elementary maths (the mathematics you have learnt till class 10th). If maths was never your strong subject then be geared up as early as you can. Start studying for this entrance exam 5 months before from the date you will appear on. Redo all the basic formulas and methods you had learnt from class 8th to 10th. You can easily get the books in the market and join additional tuitions if this is your weakest point.
It is not easy to get high scores in any law exam, but these smart ways can help you the best.
