All about UGC NET

The CBSE i.e. Central Board of Secondary Education holds the NET (National Eligibility Test) every year to decide the eligibility for Assistant Professor Position or Junior Research Fellowship. Let’s discuss the benefits of clearing the UGC NET exam.

As per the UGC (University Grants Commission) “the applicants who clear the NET exam successfully will be eligible for rewarding jobs in the which are also called as PSUs. NET is conducted by the UGC for appointment of assistant professors in the institutions of higher education and for the research fellowships.

The UGC thus has directed the public sector undertakings to use the NET result database for the hiring & recruitment process to take on board these master’s degree holders as their executives or officers in their organizations in disciplines like Management, Science (R&D), Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Finance, etc. This significant step taken by the UGC has increased the number of applicants and craze amongst the students for taking the UGC-NET exam and eventually the colleges also would get benefitted by getting brighter students for their Ph.D. programs.

It is very necessary for any candidate to take proper coaching for entrance preparation before your attempt to give UGC NET exams & JRF. Proper Coaching of UGC – NET gives you an idea as to what sort of Questions are going to appear in the UGC NET examination and what are the correct answers and also in what time the paper should be attempted. Sometimes, some questions get repeated again and by practicing them early you are able to score. The preparation for the JRF & UGC NET exam should ideally start atleast 6 months before the examination and the student must attempt to, if not more, at least 2000 questions per subject of the previous year papers.
