Overview
  • Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, commonly known as Indraprastha University, was established in 1998 by the government of NCT-Delhi. The University aims to promote and facilitate higher education with a focus on vocational training, such as hospitality, bba, management, law, BJMC etc. The Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management (BCIHMCT) runs a 4-year BHMCT program, in line with the curriculum developed by the IP university.
Eligibility
  • Candidate should have passed 10+2 CBSE or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in total(best of 4 including english)
  • Candidate should also have passed in English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.
  • Candidates appearing for the qualifying exam / awaiting results can also appear for CET subject to the fulfillment of the above conditions on declaration of the result.
  • As on 01.08.2019, candidate should not be beyond 21 years of age.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel/Persons With Disability will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks in the minimum eligibility requirement, irrespective of the fact whether there exists any sort of reservation quota for any category for such candidates or not.

Overview
  • The IHM-A is run by the Maulana Azad Education Society. The institute was established in 1989, in collaboration with the Taj Hotels Group. IHM-A offers a 4-year program with culinary arts and B.A. (H) in hotel management.
  • IHM-A also offers an International Baccalaureate in partnership with the University of Huddersfield
  • 4 Year BA(H) in Hotel Management
  • 4 Year BA(H) Culinary Arts
  • After 1st & 2nd Year, students can opt to continue education in either UK(University of Huddersfield) or in India itself.
Eligibility
  • Candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream with English as the medium of instruction.
  • Candidates who have appeared for the CBSE board exams in the current year and are awaiting results you can also apply.
  • Such candidates will be admitted to IHM-A only if they successfully qualify in the Board Examination.

Overview
  • The National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism of the Government of India. The Council regulates academics for B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, popularly known as B.Sc. (Hospitality) / B.Sc. (HM) and nine other courses taught in 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management , 22 under the State Government, 1 Public Sector Company and 14 Private institutes. In addition, 7 food craft institutes offer diploma programs in central operational areas. Each year, the NCHM JEE or IHM entrance exam takes place in the month of April.
Eligibility
  • A pass in the senior secondary or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. The candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (basic / optional / functional course) during the qualification examination.
  • Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear on provisional basis but proof will be required
  • For candidates in the General and OBC categories, the upper age limit is 22 years on 01.07.2018
  • All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate at the time of admission from a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format.
  • For candidates from General and OBC categories, upper age limit is 22 years as on 01.07.2018.
  • In the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2018.
  • Upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates shall be reckoned as per the category he/she belongs to i.e. General/SC/ST/OBC.
