IPMAT Rohtak: Integrated Programme in Management

ABOUT IPMAT (IIM ROHTAK)

The Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is designed for students who have completed their class XII and aspire to build a career in Business Management. This comprehensive program seamlessly integrates management studies from the undergraduate (UG) to postgraduate (PG) levels. The primary goal is to shape exceptional young students into proficient managers and leaders.

Key features of the program include:

Comprehensive Nature: The program spans five years and encompasses both undergraduate and postgraduate levels of management studies, providing a comprehensive educational experience.

Degree Award: Upon successfully completing the academic requirements over the five-year period, participants will be conferred the Integrated Programme in Management (BBA+MBA) by IIM Rohtak.

Academic Rigor: The curriculum is designed to provide academic rigor, ensuring that students receive a robust education in various aspects of business management.
Eligibility Criteria:

To progress to the last two years of the program and earn a master’s degree, students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 5 during their first three years. Those falling below this threshold will be awarded a BBA degree and will exit the program with a CGPA, not below 4.
This program is structured to offer students a unique educational journey, preparing them for managerial roles and leadership positions in the business world. The dual-degree structure provides a pathway for continuous academic advancement, rewarding those who meet the specified academic standards with an integrated BBA+MBA qualification.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Stage I: Online Registration

Interested applicants who fulfill the above-mentioned eligibility criteria will fill the registration form that aims at evaluating the applicant’ s proficiency in academics as well as in extra-curricular activities.
The eligible applicants will pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 4175/- (Four Thousand One Hundred Seventy-Five Only)

Stage II: IPM Aptitude Test

All the interested applicants will undergo IIM Rohtak’ s IPM Aptitude Test, that will examine the aptitude, logical reasoning, and proficiency in English of the applicant.

Tentivetly IPMAT will be conducted in second week of may

IPM Aptitude Test will comprise of the following sections:

Quantitative Ability	40	40 minutes
Logical Reasoning	40	40 minutes
Verbal Ability	40	40 minutes

Note: Each question will carry 4 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. All the questions will be multiple-choice questions

In case the candidate also selects Integrated Programme in Law (IPL) option while registering for IPM AT 2024, such candidates will also appear for fourth section as:

Stage III: Online Personal Interview (PI)

The announcement of Call for Online Personal Interviews (PI) will be done in the First Week of June . The shortlisting will be based on the IPMAT scores.

The candidates during their personal interviews will be judged on the basis of their academics, general awareness, and communication skills.

The interviews are proposed to be held in the Second Week of June (Tentative)

Stage IV: Announcement of Selection List and Offer Acceptance

(i)The final Merit List will be generated based on the composite score of IPM AT 2023, Past Academics, and Personal Interview.

Stage V: Provisional Admission to IPM

The candidates accepting the offer of admission to IPM will be given a

confirmation letter. The candidate is required to pay the First Year Programme Fee

(as mentioned in the confirmation letter) and needs to report to the institute campus for

registration on the stipulated date.

Total no of seats

Total no. of seats for IPM Batch 2024-29 will be 180 (including 10% of the total seats will be offered to EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates).

The offer of admission to candidate will be made strictly on the basis of merit/rank list and availability of seats in each category (Gen, SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS & DAP) as per reservation rules of Govt. of India

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the following criteria to apply for this program:

General, NC-OBC and EWS Category: Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as of June 30, 2024
SC, ST, and PWD (DAP) Category: Minimum 55% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as on June 30, 2024

PROGRAMME OFFERED

Five Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM)

The curriculum has four core areas: Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, and Humanities. Apart from these, other courses such as Business Communication, Management Information System, Business, and Foreign Languages are also offered

The students will have to maintain a minimum CGPA of 5 in their first three years to be eligible for the last two years of the program to earn a master’ s degree.

Students below 5.0 CGPA will be awarded a BBA degree and will exit the program with the CGPA not below 4.0. Also,

if any student voluntarily intends to exit the program after successfully completing the program requirement at the end of 3 years, he/she will be awarded a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) on notifying the office about the exit within the stipulated time in the third year of the Programme
