It is a course for students interested in pursuing their career in law. This is a very reputed and renowned course. The duration of the course is of 3 years. Most of the institutions in India have different selection criteria pertaining to studies in law. The course offers specializations too. You can explore various career opportunities or even work independently on completion of the graduation.

Eligibility

  • Applicants in the final year of graduation are eligible for the DU LLB entrance examination. However, these candidates will be offered a provisional admission.

In addition to the above, the additional eligibility criteria that applicants must meet to ensure their admission to the LLB program are those listed below:

  • For candidates in the general category: these candidates must have a postgraduate degree from the University of Delhi or any other recognized Indian or foreign university with at least 50% overall grades.
  • Applicants in the OBC category: These candidates must have a postgraduate degree / diploma from a recognized university with at least 45% overall grades.
  • For SC / ST candidates: These candidates must have a postgraduate / graduate degree from a recognized university with at least 40% overall marks.
  • For CW applicants: Applicants who belong to widows / wards in the former / military category receive a 5% relaxation in grades, that is, they will be eligible for the examination input.
  • For applicants in the PH category: these candidates must have a postgraduate / graduate diploma with at least 45% of the overall marks.

Entrance Pattern

  • A total of 100 multiple choice questions in 2 hours duration.
  • For every correct answer in DU LLB Entrance Exam, aspirants will be awarded four marks and one mark would be deducted for every wrong response.
