The proposed four-year undergraduate program is based on the philosophy and structural elements outlined in the New Education Policy 2020. Additionally, it aligns with the Curriculum and Credit Framework for undergraduate programs published by the UGC in December 2022. Drawing inspiration from the structural and curricular elements introduced by USME, DTU in 2020, specifically aimed at enriching the learning experience in the Undergraduate Program in Economics, the curriculum incorporates a broader range of disciplines such as analytics, programming, and management. This approach is designed to empower students in building versatile careers.
Moreover, the program emphasizes elements of learning that foster better life skills and perspectives. It retains and strengthens aspects such as the enhancement of abilities and skills, along with a focus on value-based education, which were integral to the earlier design.
