The course aims to groom students to meet the evolving demands of the media industry. Graduates from this program have found employment in a diverse range of media organizations, including roles in Creative, Digital, PR, Production, Broadcast, and News media. Some alumni choose to pursue post-graduation degrees in fields such as Management, Branding, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Visual Arts & Design, Film Making, and Policy. Additionally, a number of graduates have become entrepreneurs in media-related businesses, showcasing the program’s impact in fostering a versatile skill set and entrepreneurial spirit among its students.
A candidate in order to be eligible for admission to the BACHELOR OF ARTS (MASS COMMUNICATION AND JOURNALISM) degree course shall have passed the 12th Std. Examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination or Diploma in any Engineering branch with two or three- or four-years duration after passing the Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) examination conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State or equivalent examination
Candidates who clear the exam are eligible for the interview cum written exam.
The interview round list is prepared by giving
60% weightage to the exam and
40% weightage to the qualifying XII examination
