ABOUT THE COURSE

The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET), an all-India examination used for admitting students into both undergraduate and postgraduate programs at various central and state universities across India. For undergraduate admissions, this examination is referred to as CUET (UG)-2023, denoting the Common University Entrance Test for that year.

EXAM PATTERN

Details of CUET (UG)

The test will be conducted as a CBT (Computer Based Test).

CUET (UG) will consist of the following 4 Sections:

1 Section IA covers 13 different languages.
2 Section IB encompasses 20 languages.
3 Section II involves 27 domain-specific subjects.
4 Section III consists of the general test.

Section II –
Domain-specific subject

There are 27 Domains specific Subjects being offered under this Section.
A candidate may choose a maximum of Six (06)
Domains as desired by the applicable University/ Universities.

Common University test UG (CUET – UG) 2024 – Between 15th May of 2024 and 31st May 2024

Common University Entrance Test – PG ( CUET – PG ) 2024 – in March

SYLLABUS OVERVIEW

Section IA & IB: Language proficiency will be assessed through Reading Comprehension, which includes various types of passages such as Factual, Literary, and Narrative. This section evaluates Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary.

TEST MODE & DURATION

MODE OF TEST HYBRID MODE (Computer-Based Test/Pen & Paper)

TEST DURATION

1. 40 out of 50 questions are to be attempted in all subjects including languages. The duration of the test will be of 45 minutes duration.

2. Except in subjects i.e., Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science / Informatics Practices, Chemistry, Mathematics / AppliedMathematics and General Test, the duration of the test will be 60 minutes.
