The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at IIM Ranchi is a comprehensive 5-year integrated postgraduate program that leads to the award of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree upon successful completion. Here are some key points about the program:

Duration: The IPM at IIM Ranchi spans a total of 5 years.

Degree Awarded: Upon successful completion of the full 5-year program, students are awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

Exit OptionStudents have the flexibility to exit the program after three years. If a student chooses to exit after completing the first three years of the program and has fulfilled all the necessary requirements up to that point, they will be awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.

Programme Requirements: To be eligible for the BBA degree upon exiting after three years, a student must have completed all the program requirements specified by IIM Ranchi.

Candidates are required to have successfully completed the 10th standard and the 12th standard (or an equivalent examination) with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories). The calculation of the percentage of marks follows the regulations set by the respective Board. In instances where there are no specific regulations regarding aggregate marks from the concerned Board, the final percentage is determined based on the aggregate marks of all subjects listed on the grade sheet.

It’s important to note that IIM Ranchi exclusively considers scores from IPMAT (conducted by IIM Indore). The Institute reserves the right to modify or change the admission process and criteria. Prospective candidates are advised to stay updated by regularly checking the IIM Ranchi website for the latest information.

Stage 1: The candidates satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria
Stage 2: Based on the applications received, candidates satisfying minimum eligibility criteria will be called for the Aptitude Test (AT)

Stage 3 involves the formation of the qualified pool for Stage 4, which is the Personal Interview (PI). This selection includes candidates with positive raw scores and a predetermined minimum mark in all three sections of the Aptitude Test. The Admissions Committee will determine the minimum cut-off mark for each section based on applicant categories. Rejection notifications will not be individually dispatched to applicants declined at this stage.
In Stage 4, an ample number of candidates will be selected for the Personal Interview (PI) from the eligible pool established in Stage 3. This selection process will be conducted separately for each category (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST, and PwD) utilizing the merit list generated from the Aptitude Test Score (ATS) as outlined earlier.

Stage 5: Only those candidates satisfying the requirements mentioned in earlier stages will be considered
for the final selection.
