IHM-A (Institute of Hotel Management – Aurangabad) provides two globally acclaimed hospitality courses in collaboration with the University of Huddersfield, UK, and the Taj Group. The institute offers two four-year programs

Hotel Management  IHM-Aurangabad, India – 3 YR
Culinary Arts Honours Level, IHM-Aurangabad, India 3 YR

4th Year – Internship Open Sandwich Year away from IHM-A in India (120 S- Level Credits)(FOR BOTH PROGG)

During your Personal Interview we will be seeking talent in the following five areas:

Please adhere to the prescribed dress code when you meet us at the designated Centre.

  • Ladies – formal attire – saris or business suits preferred – formal ensembles or a full sleeved shirt, scarves and formal shoes.
  • Gentlemen – formal attire – suit, jacket or blazer preferred – formal trousers, full sleeved shirt, neck tie and formal shoes.

1. Profile Test: This component carries a weightage of 20%, assessing candidates on specific aspects relevant to their profile.
2. Statement of Purpose (SOP): The Statement of Purpose contributes to 10% of the selection criteria, allowing candidates to express their motivations and aspirations for pursuing the program.
3. Group Discussion (GD): Group Discussion holds significant weight, accounting for 20% of the evaluation process. This stage involves assessing candidates’ communication skills, teamwork, and their ability to engage in group discussions.
4. Personal Interview (PI): The Personal Interview is a crucial component, carrying the highest weightage of 50%. During this stage, candidates are evaluated on various aspects, including their knowledge, communication skills, and suitability for the hotel management program.
The cumulative scores from these parameters determine the shortlisting and final selection of candidates for admission.
